Ceramic Ball Mill
TC Series Ceramic Ball Mill
A ball mill lined and charged with alumina ceramic, quartz or silex instead of steel — so the product never touches iron. Used for ceramic bodies, quartz, feldspar, kaolin, pigments and electronic materials where iron contamination is not acceptable. Fineness is controlled by grinding time, and the mill runs either dry or wet.
- Fully ceramic lining and media, no iron pickup — for materials with tight whiteness and purity specs
- Liner options: alumina ceramic, quartz, silex or rubber, matched to material hardness and purity
- Batch operation — fineness set by grinding time, one batch at a time, easy to change material
Key features
- Fully ceramic lining and media, no iron pickup — for materials with tight whiteness and purity specs
- Liner options: alumina ceramic, quartz, silex or rubber, matched to material hardness and purity
- Batch operation — fineness set by grinding time, one batch at a time, easy to change material
- Dry or wet grinding; wet discharge slurry passes a 1000-mesh screen
- Auto-transformer reduced-voltage start — low inrush current, gentle on the local grid
- Integral or separate frame; well suited to small batches of many different materials
